Kevin Stadler Takes Home Championship Win

On Wednesday last week Kevin Stadler turned 34, according to Wikipedia, and it may be right to assume that his birthday celebration was unusually festive: On Feb. 2, just a couple days beforehand, Stadler secured his first PGA Tour championship win at the Waste Management Phoenix Open golf tournament in Scottsdale, Arizona.

With the win, Stadler joins his father, long-time pro golfer Craig Stadler, who has more than a dozen PGA Tour wins under his belt. According to CBS Sports, Kevin Stadler's Feb. 2 win means that Kevin and Craig will be the first father-son duo to play together in the Masters.

About the Phoenix Open

The Waste Management Phoenix Open is said to be one of the highest attended - if not the highest attended - professional golf tournaments in the U.S. There are usually, according to Wikipedia, roughly 500,000 fans in attendance during the four day period. Many local Tempe ASU students come to cheer (or boo) the golfers at the infamous 16th hole, which has become known as a party spot during the tournament.

About Arizona Lawyer Richard Suzuki

Phoenix attorney Richard Suzuki was also in attendance - though not just as a spectator. Mr. Suzuki's team took 7th place in the Open, getting the early months of 2014 off to a great start.

"It was an incredible experience, one that I will never forget!" Richard Suzuki said, who is pictured above with professional American golfer James Hahn.

A former federal and state prosecutor, Mr. Suzuki and the staff of Suzuki Law Offices defend people facing the state and federal government against many types of misdemeanor and felony charges, including drunk driving. Mr. Suzuki also represents people who were seriously injured in car, truck and motorcycle accidents.
