The Kwamie Lassiter Foundation is dedicated to bringing awareness to Sickle Cell Anemia and establishing opportunities that promote comprehensive awareness of healthy lifestyles. The Memorial Golf Classic is a wonderful charity event that raises crucial funds that aid KLF’s noble effort to provide resources for Sickle Cell families, host bone marrow transplant drives, and provide supplies for teacher’s wish lists for classrooms of Title I schools.
This 18-hole scramble was held at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club in Phoenix, AZ, on January 6th, 2021. The event kicked off with a shotgun start and featured celebrity guests who joined golfers to help raise money for KLF. Among the list of guest celebrities was Super Bowl champion fullback Larry Centers, and other Arizona Cardinals alumni who also took part in bringing awareness to Sickle Cell Anemia.
